Mixed Media Landscapes

Mixed media works on paper and canvas allow an exploration of ideas in texture and form that more traditional techniques do not. Using found objects, bits of old maps, and my own paintings, I respond to how the world feels as well as how it is seen. Sand, fabric and paint form my pallet… a rich limitless language of textures to describe my awe at the beauty of the world.
